ILSoyAdvisor Better Beans Series

The ILSoyAdvisor Better Beans Series is free to Illinois and surrounding area farmers, agronomists and others in the soybean production industry. Each event has on-farm production information, technology updates and panels featuring local growers and agronomic experts sharing insights and personal “lessons learned.” The full agenda is online, along with registration information and additional event details. Young Entrepreneur Program

Champaign Public Library Robeson Pavilion Room C, 200 W. Green St., Champaign

The Young Entrepreneur Program (YEP) is an award-winning innovative curriculum that seeks to engage empower and educate Champaign County high school students through entrepreneurship. YEP is for teens who thrive in hands-on learning environments, march to the beat of their own drum and are always looking for a new challenge. Participants will be asked to create a small business over the course of two sessions in the fall and spring. The program culminates in a pitch competition, where participants have the opportunity to compete for prize money to seed their new venture. Students have the option to participate in a weekly co-working and mentorship meeting on the Mondays when formal meetings are not scheduled.
